“Ourselves we can change. Others we can only love.” (Naranon Family Groups)

This is my most recent favorite quote these days. This reminds me to stay in my lane and to focus on what I need to change to improve upon myself.

Yet, at the same time, I am only human, so I have a natural anxiety about people I love. When I see them what I judge as making poor choices, I then whip out a gratitude list. I make a list of what I could be grateful for in this scenario. What about it COULD BE positive?

Sometimes, it feels like making up things out of thin air. That’s okay. If it helps remove fear and anxiety, then magic gratitude is a great tool. That practice is worth it.

GRATITUDE: it’s magical, it’s miraculous.
